Phillip Wells Visits Fallen Heroes

We are very excited to announce that the very talented Phil Wells, who has been travelling around Europe for the last 5 months, will be joining us at Fallen Heroes for 2 months starting from October 3rd.

We asked him a few questions so that you can get to know him a little better.

Whose work are you following at the moment?

I follow so many people and take huge inspiration from a lot of them who are located overseas. Some names to mention are Dan Molloy, Jacob gardener and Antony Flemming who Ive been fortunate enough to get tattooed by.

What inspires you in your art?

Making the best tattoos I possibly can inspires me, constantly wanting to be a better tattooer than I am today inspires me the most I would say in tattooing.

What are the best and worst parts of being a tattoo artist?

Best part is that I get to go to work, hang out with my friends, make cool things on people and everyday is different.

The worst parts are dealing with (difficult) clients, at the end of the day you are putting something forever on someones skin , so that is expected, but it can prove quite tricky at times. Managing everyone and their designs is also a hard thing to keep up

What do you enjoy about working with FH?

I enjoy the creative side of Fallen Heroes. A lot of good quality work coming out that shop. Means you’ve gotta keep up and stay on the same level.

What music is on your playlist at the moment?

I listen to a lot of pop punk and hardcore. Not an angry person at all, just like angry music haha
